My name is Paul Trussler and I have been involved in the Engineering/Architectural sector for the best part of 16 years since graduating.
Although initially, it wasn’t entirely my aim to be in the industry since leaving school, it has certainly been provided me with a successful career full of ups and downs which has given me a wealth of experience from various roles Junior cad technician, project manager, estimator to development design manager.
This has spanned from Oxford, Birmingham, Bournemouth and now living in the heart of the Cotswolds.

My Reason for joining DWG Plans
My reason for joining DWG Plans and investing into the franchise was that I have always been open to “being my own boss” but taking the plunge and finding a business which not only excited me but had the potential to grow.
After speaking with Paul Blay and the DWG Plans team it ticked the boxes and having spent a number of weeks/months discussing with Paul I decided to invest into the franchise.
Since this I have undertaken an in depth insight as to the day-to-day process in which Paul and the DWG Plans team do to make it such a successful company and it hasn’t disappointed into the high quality detail and precision Paul undertakes whilst keeping a friendly personality to the clients, in which I am looking forward to providing for my clients in the Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire & Warwickshire surrounding areas.

- Simply get in touch with us via email or phone to arrange a consultation.
- Together we’ll discuss your project and explore your options going ahead.
- If you’re happy to go ahead, DWG Plans will visit your property and conduct a full survey.
- Full 2D floor, elevation and roof plans will be drawn up for you, complete with accurate dimensions – everything you need for acquiring planning permission for your new project.
- If you’re planning a larger project, you can also rely on us for full site and block plans – just ask!

I have a range of hobbies and interests but they mainly involve sports such as football, rugby, cricket, tennis, F1 and gaming. I have a self-confessed nerd side in which I enjoy new computer software to develop my skills and learn new formats of technology. I have a drone in which I am undertaken lessons on which are going well and plan to gain my license to incorporate that into some degree into my newly acclaimed franchise.
My main interests except for sports in travelling and have been very fortunate to have visited some amazing places such as Maldives, Kula Lumpur, Venice, Lisbon, Mauritius and majority of Europe. Within these counties of travel I always am inspired by some of the Architectural brilliance these places have to offer which has such a vary of spectacular beauty.
I look forward to the start of a positive and enjoyable path investing into DWG Plans and help take this venture forward in the Cotswold area to my own set of clients to provide excellent service.
My plans for the franchise
My plans for the franchise moving forward are to replicate the services in which Paul Blay undertakes, however in the areas in which I will be covering as mentioned above. Although my knowledge of DWG Plans is very fresh, my experience in the industry and hard working endeavours will make up for this and I’m very excited to see what comes of it. The name of the company will be called DWG Plans Cotswolds Ltd, in which once again I am thrilled to be part of and join the journey of to a successful enterprise.
